Applico To Open Mobile Engineering Center In Downtown Boston On Sept. 25

BOSTON, Sept. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Applico, Inc., a full-service mobile design and development firm, will open the Applico Mobile Engineering Center in the heart of downtown Boston, MA, on September 25. Borne out of Applico's New York City headquarters that boasts one of the largest in-house mobile development shops in the country, the Mobile Engineering Center will focus on client services as well as research and development.  The Mobile Engineering Center is located at 201 South Street, just minutes away from South Station.  

Alex Moazed, Founder & CEO of Applico, considers Boston to be a breeding ground for talented, creative engineers with an interest in mobile and deep roots in software development. Applico CTO Matt Powers, a Boston University graduate with a Master's in Engineering in Computer Engineering, will be in charge of bringing in new engineers to add on to what is already a formidable team. "We're not just looking for platform specific engineers," said Powers. "We want bright, hard-working individuals who are looking to get into the mobile space, and the Mobile Engineering Center will hold opportunities for virtually every type of engineer.
