Arcadia Resources Announces Payer Contract With Touchstone Health: DailyMed™ Program to be Offered to Medicare Advantage Members in New York

INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Arcadia Resources, Inc. (NYSE Amex: KAD), a leading provider of innovative consumer health care services under the Arcadia HealthCare(SM) brand, together with Touchstone Health will offer its Medicare Advantage members the opportunity to enroll in Arcadia's DailyMed™ Pharmacy program beginning January 1, 2011.

The DailyMed Program will help eligible Touchstone Health members eliminate the guesswork of taking multiple prescriptions by providing them with a monthly supply of medications delivered to their home in pre-sorted packets marked with the date and time they should be taken. High-risk members who might find it difficult to manage multiple medications will benefit from DailyMed's clinical team members who closely monitor the safety, efficacy and compliance of the medication therapy. The extra help and attention improves care while reducing health care costs.

Touchstone Health and DailyMed will launch a collaborative outreach to Medicare Advantage members who are eligible for the program. Members will then receive a letter and a brochure in January, 2011, detailing the features and benefits of DailyMed and inviting them to participate. In addition, DailyMed will outreach to members via phone to inform them of their eligibility. Targeted physicians will receive information regarding program benefits to eligible Touchstone Health members.
