At ArchDaily, we don't believe that "expert" juries are necessary to determine quality architecture. We trust our readers, intelligent and informed architects from every corner of the globe, to select the buildings that - due to their beauty, intelligence, creativity, or service to the community - represent the best architecture of the year.

Last month, ArchDaily partnered with HP to launch these unique awards for the architecture community. On February 5, after more than 31 ,000 people from all over the world voted, the winners for ArchDaily's Building of the Year Awards 2015 were announced.

It has been four exciting weeks during which readers chose their favorite buildings. Divided into 14 categories, this year's winners vary from up-and-coming architects like EFFEKT, who constructed a cluster of structures to create a new cancer counseling center in Denmark, to architects who are leading the charge on a new wave of popular regionalism such as Vietnamese Vo Trong Nghia, to Pritzker Prize-winning architects such as Alvaro Siza, Herzog & de Meuron and Shigeru Ban. However, no matter the firm, each project stands out for its unique and innovative design.
