Aria Health Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) Michelle Conley, DrNP(c), MBA, BSN, RN, Appointed to Aria Health Board of Trustees
PHILADELPHIA, May 11, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Aria Health today announced its Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) Michelle Conley, DrNP(c), MBA, BSN, RN, has been appointed as a member of the Board of Trustees at Aria Health. Conley has been with Aria since 2011 and has proven to be an effective leader of our nursing staff as CNO.
Prior to joining Aria, she served as Associate Chief Nursing Officer at Pennsylvania Hospital, where she was also a staff nurse and Nursing Director in the Acute Inpatient Psychiatry Unit and Labor and Delivery Units, and Clinical Director of Women's Health Services and Psychiatry. Conley also directed the Dissociative Disorders Program and the Kirkbride Apartment Program at The Institute of Pennsylvania Hospital. In addition, she was a staff nurse in inpatient psychiatry at Friends Hospital.
Conley received an associate degree from Pennsylvania State University upon graduation from Aria Health's School of Nursing. She went on to later earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Rosemont College. Conley is a past recipient of Pennsylvania Hospital's Emil and Lynn Hubschman Award, and an active member of both the American Nurses Association (ANA) and American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE). She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Nursing Practice at Drexel University.
