Arista Power Enters Into Strategic Partnership with Solar PV Manufacturer Helios Solar Works
ROCHESTER, N.Y., July 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Arista Power, Inc. ("Arista Power" or the "Company") (OTCBB: ASPW.OB), a developer and manufacturer of wind turbines, renewable energy power storage and management systems, and a supplier of solar energy systems, announced today that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Helios Solar Works, a manufacturer of high-performance, mono-crystalline solar modules for solar electric systems. Under the agreement, Helios will manufacture and supply solar panels to Arista Power for use in its products and for resale. In addition, Helios will refer to Arista Power solar opportunities that include an energy storage component, and Arista Power will be a distributor of Helios's products to the U.S. military.
Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Helios Solar Works is a member of a global alliance of firms dedicated to developing and building world-class solar modules. The solar modules will be made at Helios's Milwaukee facility.
