TAMPA, Fla., Aug. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ARMA Global Corporation's annual revenue growth rate of 87% over the past five years has earned the Tampa-based defense contractor the No. 23 spot on Washington Technology Magazine's prestigious Fast 50 list for 2014.
In a statement from Todd J. Schweitzer, CEO, James D. Fugit, President, and Brian L. Overstreet, COO, the company declared: "Our growth since our founding in 2009 has been a direct result of the commitment to excellence, the discipline, creativity and innovation that embody our culture of client service here at ARMA . Any success we have had, and will have in the future, can be tied directly to the professionalism of our team of solutions-oriented specialists at all of our offices nationwide and around the world. This honor belongs to them."
The 2014 Fast 50 annual rankings are based on five years of revenue, which are used to calculate a compound annual growth rate. The companies were then ranked according to that CAGR. They are not ranked according to overall revenue.
ARMA 's revenues reported for the competition, in millions annually, are:
- 2009 - $13.9
- 2010 - $32.2
- 2011 - $78.7
- 2012 - $122.7
- 2013 - $170.1
Eligibility for the rankings also is based on being considered a small business by the federal government, either purely by size, or by participating on one of the government's small business programs, such as being an 8(a), veteran-owned, HUBZone or women-owned business.
ARMA is a veteran-owned business that provides Professional Services, Defense and Peacekeeping Operations and Systems Integration services for the federal government. ARMA has 750 full time employees in offices in Florida, North Carolina and Washington, D.C.
