Art of Custom Framing Relocates to Rochester Road in Troy
Local Company Expands Footprint and Services to Meet Growing Customer Needs
TROY, Mich., Sept. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Less than five years after Art Bashi's avocation morphed into a successful business, the Art of Custom Framing (ACF) has outgrown its former headquarters in Clawson and is opening the doors of its new location with a 3 p.m. ribbon cutting by Troy Mayor Dane Slater, Friday, Sept. 18 at 3863 Rochester Road (north of Big Beaver) in Troy. The Grand Opening celebration will continue until 9 p.m.
"My interest in unique ways to preserve sports memorabilia led me to create a custom framing business that specializes in one-of-a-kind creations designed to thrill customers like me," opined Bashi, the company's vice president and chief of daily operations.
Founded four years ago, ACF is built on Bashi's 17 years of retail and sales management experience with several major retailers. A corollary to Legends of Ice, Inc. that Bashi founded in 2004, Art of Custom Framing has evolved into a full service gallery that now offers:
| Fine & Decorative Artwork |
Dye Sublimation – Metal & Wood |
| Custom Framing |
Signage & Plaques |
| Custom Mirrors |
Large Format Printing & Scanning |
| Object Boxes |
Photo Restoration |
| Installation Service |
Laser Engraving |
| Latex Printing |
Collectibles & Sports Memorabilia |
Bashi explained that his operation focuses on work by local artists along with custom commercial and residential projects that provide an ever changing selection of original works of art as well as quality reproductions. An in-house Fine Art consultant and staff of designers are on hand to work with residential and corporate clients to provide one-on-one service in art selection, research and custom framing.
Building on its roots, the Art of Custom Framing features framed sports memorabilia that include college sports such as official licensed MSU and U of M mementoes.
"Specialty projects are our forte at the Art of Custom Framing," commented Bashi. "Our new location allowed us to add dye sublimation printing and helps us make maximum use of the finest computer-assisted laser cutting machinery allowing our skilled operators to produce intricate mat designs as well as lettering and designs in acrylic and wood," he continued.
Gallery hours for the new location are:
Monday – Wednesday: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Thursday: 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
