DALLAS, June 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ArtBanc is pleased to announce the addition of Karl Chiao as Managing Director to the ArtBanc team. Karl will be responsible for further developing ArtBanc's reach in the area of Trusts and Estates where it provides collection management and valuation services. "We are excited to add someone with Karl's skill set to help us better cover this important market place," reported Scott Barnes, C.E.O. ArtBanc International.
Drawing on a diverse background in client development and relationship management, Mr. Chiao most recently served as the Dallas director of Trusts and Estates for an international auction house and brings with him an intimate knowledge of the needs of a properly managed collection. "The effective tracking and monitoring of collected valuables poses a challenge, particularly in instances where there are multiple stakeholders. I am thrilled to be working for one of the few companies that provides a solution to comprehensively address these needs," added Mr. Chiao.
Mr. Chiao graduated from Texas A&M University in 1990 with a bachelor's in political science and business management before attending SMU School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate in 1993. In addition to the practice of law, Karl's career has included real estate development, running a Maserati/Bentley/Rolls Royce dealership and working at an auction house. His personal interests include a passion for collecting automobilia, cars, and watches, and serving on the Board of Directors of various non-profits in the Dallas area.
Karl can be reached at [email protected].
