ArtPrize 2025 Lights Up Grand Rapids with 16 Days of Art, Energy, and Community

Opening Celebration – Friday, Sept. 19

We're kicking things off in style at Rosa Parks Circle! Start the evening with a lantern-making workshop at 4:30 PM, then stick around for live music and performances starting at 6:30 PM. As night falls, join the ArtPrize Parade—a lively street celebration marking the opening of ArtPrize! Bursting with live music, dancers, performers, and vibrant energy, this festive event welcomes the entire community—walk, dance, and celebrate with us as we make our way to the riverfront fireworks!

Merchants and Makers – Saturdays: Sept. 20, 27 & Oct. 4

Every Saturday during ArtPrize, Monroe Center transforms into a vibrant market filled with local makers, handmade treasures, delicious eats, and live music. It's the perfect way to spend the day—shopping, snacking, and soaking up the energy of the city.

HalfTime – Friday Sept. 26, Presented by Rockford

Halfway through the fun, we turn up the volume at Sixth Street Park! Enjoy a full evening of live music, great food, and the big reveal of the top 20 artists in each district. It's a major milestone in the competition—and a party you don't want to miss.

ArtPrize Awards Ceremony – Friday Oct. 3

We close things out with a night of sparkle, celebration, and creativity. The ArtPrize Awards honor the best of the fest with performances, big moments, and a citywide livestream that lets everyone join in on the action—whether you're in the room or watching from your favorite local hangout.
