(OTCQB: ASTV), a leading product marketing company, today announced the appointment of technology, research and operations specialist Henrik Sandell, Ph.D., as Chief Operating Officer and Andrew Kingston as Chief Legal Counsel and head of new business development. The two additions to As Seen On TV's senior management team follow last month's appointment of Ronald C. Pruett, Jr. as President and CEO.

Dr. Sandell has over 18 years experience building new marketing ventures and repositioning brands. Most recently, he was COO and CTO of the ID3 Institute with roots in Harvard and MIT. He was also Research Scientist at the MIT Media Lab where he conducted research on privacy-protecting trust frameworks for mobile health applications. Previously, Dr. Sandell was SVP of Marketing Operations at Liberty Medical/Polymedica (PLMD), which was acquired by Medco Health Solutions (MHS) for $1.5B. Dr. Sandell earned his Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University on a Fulbright grant.
Mr. Kingston has over 25 years experience as both outside and in-house counsel to businesses throughout the world. Mr. Kingston previously served as general counsel to a number of public and private companies, including eDiets.com, Inc. As a founding partner in NNDKP, one of the largest and most successful law firms in Southeastern Europe, he provided legal and business assistance to governments, start-ups and Fortune 100 clients. Mr. Kingston also served as Adjunct Professor of Law at Cornell Law School, teaching Corporate Finance in Emerging Markets. Mr. Kingston received his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School.
