Crisscrossing America to teach practical home improvement lessons to homeowners and millions of viewers, this new season of ASK THIS OLD HOUSE will include stops in Texas, California, Washington DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Georgia, Vermont, and Massachusetts and will also include first ever visits to South Dakota, Idaho, Montana, and Delaware!  After this season, ASK THIS OLD HOUSE will have visited 47 states across the country.

ASK THIS OLD HOUSE will continue to focus on timely and relevant segments for audiences everywhere, from simple DIY wood working projects, to practical winter weather solutions, and the newest smart-home products. In a first ever for the series, ASK THIS OLD HOUSE will head to Europe, reporting from Germany on the most recent advances in home heating and energy technologies.

This season will also highlight regional specific projects like maple syrup making in Vermont and a home wind turbine installation in Texas, the state that accounts for more than 30% of all wind energy production in the U.S. In addition, the show will bring audiences fun segments on popular home project trends, including composting and home brewing beer.
