RACINE, Wis., July 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Hoaglund Enterprises, Inc.,dba Asset Equipment Appraisals & Brokerage (AEAB), a leading Nationally Certified Appraisal company is pleased to announce that they have been awarded a contract to appraise Avian Flu affected equipment that cannot be disinfected on infected farms by the USDA. "To encourage early reporting of disease issues, farmers are paid for euthanized animals, which helps stop the outbreak and supports impacted farmers at the same time," the USDA writes. APHIS also offers payment for equipment that must be destroyed because it cannot be disinfected after contact with infected animals or animal matter. To date, the USDA reports 223 detections of avian flu, possibly affecting 48.1 million domestic birds.
