CONCORD, Calif., June 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- AssetMark, Inc. announced today that it has appointed David Hutchinson to the newly created position of Midwest Divisional Manager. Hutchinson will oversee AssetMark's Midwest regional consultants and work closely with the firm's top financial advisor clients in the region.
Reporting to Michael Kim, Executive Vice President, National Sales and Consulting Leader, Hutchinson brings more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry to AssetMark.

Hutchinson previously served as Managing Director at a startup turnkey asset management firm. Prior to that, he held senior sales leadership positions with Schwab Institutional as Vice President and National Manager of Business Development, as well as Vice President of Schwab Institutional's Central and Heartland regions. He also spent several years at Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services as a Vice President in sales and relationship management.
In his new role with AssetMark, Hutchinson will work alongside division managers Vickie Edwards (Northeast), Tom McCarthy (South) and Anthony Huynh (West).
