Association Of Independent Doctors (AID) Engages The Mayer Brown, LLP Law Firm To Prepare An Amicus Brief Before The Ninth Circuit In The FTC v. St. Luke's Health System Case

WINTER PARK, Fla. and WASHINGTON, May 29, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Association of Independent Doctors (AID) issued a statement today announcing that they have engaged Mr. Robert E. Bloch, Esq. and Mr. Donald M. Falk, Esq. of the Mayer Brown, LLP law firm to prepare an amicus brief before the Ninth Circuit in FTC v. St. Luke's Health System.

AID is concerned about cases like this one that threaten independent physicians and the efficient, high quality care they provide to their communities across the country, and  AID believes that it is critical for the court to understand the importance of independent physicians in today's complex health care delivery system.  Hence, the reason AID determined to get involved in this case.
