Published as Rafa's legendary career run settles into history, the book offers the first opportunity to examine his life and legacy in their entirety. Authored by acclaimed journalist, 60 Minutes correspondent, and longtime tennis writer Jon Wertheim, the volume unites the indelible photographs that marked Nadal's rise, drawn from the private collections of Rafa's inner circle, many never made publicly available. Through insightful texts and reflections from Roger Federer, King Felipe VI of Spain, Nadal's wife Mery Perello, his father Sebastian Nadal, and longtime coaches Toni Nadal and Carlos Moy, readers will be able to navigate between the red clay of Roland-Garros and the streets of his hometown of Manacor, Mallorca; the locker room and the Rafa Nadal Academy; global campaigns and unguarded days at sea.

The book will be available in two editions. The Classic version opens with Clive Mason's portrait of the young champion at his 2005 French Open debut. The Ultimate version, housed in a clamshell recreating the clay of Court Philippe-Chatrier, opens on Corinne Dubreuil's 2012 photograph of his blistered hands cradling his seventh trophy. Limited copies of the Ultimate Edition will be signed by Rafa Nadal.
