AST Bearings Seeks to Expand Via Acquisitions

MONTVILLE, N.J., March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- AST® Bearings, LLC, a leading supplier of miniature bearings, precision ball bearings and related products, announced today that part of its continued growth strategy in 2010 is through the strategic acquisitions of other bearing supply companies.  Company officials stated that sales growth this year is expected to come from four main sources:  increased sales from existing customers, sales from new customers within existing product lines, new sales from new product lines to be introduced later this year 2010, and through the acquisition of complementary bearing companies.
