At White House Energy Datapalooza Event, Building Energy Inc. Announces Initiative to Harvest Energy Efficiency from Small Buildings Nationwide

WASHINGTON, May 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- White House Energy Datapalooza - Building Energy Inc., developer of the largest trusted platform of data and apps for the built environment today announced the launch with the National Trust for Historic Preservation of its platform to over 1,200 Main Street Center communities for energy savings, job creation, and community resilience. Building Energy also announced that in addition to its integration of Portfolio Manager, Green Button, Buildings Performance Database (BPD), and the Standard Energy Efficiency Data (SEED) application, it is extending its cloud-based software-as-a-service platform to support Open Studio-based tools such as the Commercial Building Energy Asset Score to further enable private-market solutions that leverage the Administration's Energy Data Initiative.
