ATEN Previewing New Government Solutions at Everything Channel's XChange Public Sector 2011
New Government Solutions Include a Secure KVM Switch, Common Access Card Support Dongle and Lightweight LCD Console
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., June 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ATEN today announced that it will preview new solutions developed specifically for the government market at this week's XChange Public Sector 2011 conference from June 15-17 at the Sawgrass Marriott in Jacksonville, FL. These products include a security-reinforced KVM switch, a dongle supporting Common Access Card (CAC) technology, and a lightweight, aluminum-based LCD console. ATEN offers a complete product portfolio to the federal market with more than 30 TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliant products.

At XChange Public Sector 2011, ATEN will preview the following products to government integrators:
- Secure KVM: Secure, military-grade KVM switch that caters to end-users who operate multiple computers between secure and non-secure networks. ATEN's secure KVM switch, which offers a durable design intended for long-term usage, meets the following certifications: EAL2, EAL4, NIAP and TAA (Trade Agreements Act). ATEN is in the process of gaining EVAL2+ certification – a new KVM protection profile.
- CAC/Smart Card Support Dongle: ATEN will support government, military and Department of Defense agencies that require CAC integration. The CAC/Smart Card support dongle will provide the end-user with authentication for secure access to desktops and applications. In accordance with HSPD-12, ATEN's CAC and Smart Card support is designed to protect public sector employees. The solution will not only improve physical security, but also logical access to computers and databases.
- Lightweight LCD Console: Aluminum-based, lightweight structure of LCD console enables easy installation and provides improved mobility for vehicles, tanks, ships and IT crash carts. At 17.75 pounds, ATEN's lightweight LCD product is significantly lighter than competing products, which can weigh as much as 37.5 pounds. The TAA-compliant product is also eco-friendly with its backlit LED technology and lightweight design which reduces ATEN's carbon footprint by utilizing less transportation fuel.
XChange Public Sector 2011 is dedicated to the unique dynamics of the public sector IT channel.
