Atombeam's core technology, Data-as-Codewords, fundamentally changes how computers communicate by going beyond the letters and numbers used in traditional code. The company's Neurpac solution uses Data-as-Codewords to solve many of the most pressing issues associated with compute, networking, storage and security.

Identifying patterns in data, Neurpac creates a "codebook" that matches patterns in the data to "codewords." The data, which remains intact but is much smaller – typically by 75% – is then sent to its destination, where it is decoded by a "decoder." All of this occurs in milliseconds, resulting in a 4x increase in available bandwidth, radically reduced latency, lower power usage and dramatically increased battery life. Because Atombeam's codewords have exponentially more variability, data is also inherently secure.
