NEW YORK, June 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Maria Mandel brings a wide range of digital knowledge and expertise to AT&T Advanced Advertising Solutions as she assumes the role of Vice President-Media & Marketing Innovation.
In her new role, which is effective today, Mandel will drive advertiser engagement across AT&T's media properties which include IPTV (U-Verse), online and of course mobile. She will lead the effort to promote Advanced Advertising Solutions brands to agencies, and will focus on creating unique and innovative three-screen advertising solutions that leverage the combined impact of the platforms.
In addition, Mandel will manage trade marketing and event planning for AT&T Advanced Ad Solutions with the goal of broadening the company's success on Madison Avenue and increasing awareness the unique value proposition.

Mandel joins AT&T after serving as Senior Partner, Executive Director of Digital Innovation at Ogilvy, and founder of the North American Digital Lab. She consulted across the Ogilvy group of agencies on emerging communication platforms such as mobile marketing, gaming, digital out-of-home, social media and advanced TV. She has more than 15 years of digital marketing experience having run digital groups at Draftfcb, LoweWorldwide and Ammirati Puris Lintas. She was also a brand manager at Kraft Foods.
Maria currently serves as the North American Chairperson of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) and will retain the role in her new position.
She was also one of the founding members of the American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA) Mobile Committee. She is an advisory board member of the Direct Marketing Association's (DMA) mobile committee. And she has received over thirty five industry awards including three Echo awards and seven Caples. She has been featured in many leading industry publications and contributed to a number of trade journals and books.
Mandel is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Business School, and serves as an adjunct professor of marketing at NYU's Stern Business School where she teaches a course in digital marketing.
