The stunning 17-minute film packed with vivid imagery depicting the life of Jesus Christ and His saints, will be screened on June 21, 2015 at the Greek Orthodox Church of Our Saviour in Rye, New York
NEW YORK, June 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The independent documentary short depicts a community coming together to complete the centuries-old mission of iconography. Traditionally, vibrant images of the saints and martyrs have adorned the walls of Orthodox Christian churches as part of its theology throughout the world. The community of the Greek Orthodox Church of Our Saviour in Rye, NY recently completed its sacred mission of installing iconography in an effort to enhance the spirituality of the congregation. This is their inspirational story.
