Attunity Expands Big Data Offering for Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Becomes APN Advanced Technology Partner
Company receives 'Big Data Competency' status and introduces enhanced solution for Amazon Redshift at AWS re:Invent in Las Vegas
BURLINGTON, Massachusetts, November 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Attunity Ltd. (NASDAQ CM: ATTU), a leading provider of information availability software solutions, announced today that it has expanded its award-winning Attunity CloudBeam solution to help Amazon Web Services customers move data easily and quickly from Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) to Amazon Redshift. The expanded Attunity CloudBeam solution, supporting the widely, used Amazon RDS, is now available on AWS Marketplace and will be presented live this week, November 11-14, at AWS re:Invent, in Booth 639, at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.
In addition, following the growth in customer adoption and business activity, Attunity has been awarded Big Data Competency status in the AWS Partner Network (APN) Competency Program. The recognition is a result of Attunity CloudBeam's proven technical proficiency and success in data integration and loading for Amazon Redshift, Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) and Hadoop.
"Attunity CloudBeam enabled us to quickly and seamlessly load our data from Amazon RDS to Amazon Redshift, saving months of costly development work," said Jim Nist, Director of Engineering at Couchsurfing, a social travel network with more than 9 million online members. "Couchsurfing can now make sense of community behavior and trends, leveraging that data to optimize what is most important to our users."
"We extended Attunity CloudBeam for Amazon Redshift, building on its growing adoption and customer demand. Adding support for Amazon RDS is part of our continued investment in helping AWS customers to accelerate their success in the Cloud," said Itamar Ankorion, VP Business Development and Corporate Strategy at Attunity. "We are excited about becoming an APN Advanced Technology Partner and will continue to work closely with AWS and its customers to enable a broader set of solutions."
