Built to ABS classification, the 168' Trinity Tri-Deck is a six-stateroom yacht with an elevator connecting all decks, boasting a top speed of 23 knots and draft of less than 8'. Currently in secure storage in Gulfport, Mississippi and surveyed in August of this year, the yacht is for sale thanks to a strong partnership between John Dane, the former president of Trinity Yachts, and Michael Joyce, the central listing agent with Hargrave Yacht Brokerage, in collaboration with Boathouse Auctions.

The yacht ceased construction during the Great Recession, with Dane retaining ownership of it following the sale of Trinity Yachts in 2015. The aluminum hull and superstructure are approximately 95 percent finished, with the entire superyacht estimated at 40 percent complete.

In its 27 years of business, Trinity Yachts developed 27 different designs ranging from 97 feet (29 meters) to 254 feet (77.5 meters) in both aluminum and steel. The online auction begins on November 11, with bidding remaining open through November 14. The listing includes the surveyor's report along with details about the yacht design and new equipment, including the 16-cylinder MTU engines (under warranty), ZF transmissions, Northern Lights generators, and Quantum stabilizers. The opening bid is below the cost of just the engines and transmissions by themselves, representing significant savings for the buyer.
