LINCOLN, Neb., Nov. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- International equipment sellers will be able to utilize AuctionTime.com, a unique online auction platform, to reach buyers around the world beginning December 16th. The change comes just in time for AuctionTime's year-end auctions, which are scheduled for the end of December. These huge, multi-day auctions are projected to move over 10,000 pieces of equipment between buyers and sellers all over the world.
Given that AuctionTime is an online platform, it has long been utilized by international buyers to purchase equipment. Until now, sellers have been almost exclusively local to the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The inclusion of international sellers responds to the rising demand for a simple, cost-effective auction platform in countries all over the world where MarketBook, Machinery Trader, Truck Paper, and TractorHouse already have a significant presence. "With our success in international markets on the retail side, it's a natural progression to extend AuctionTime to serve those customers," explains AuctionTime Manager Evan Welch.
Beginning December 16th, weekly auctions will open for bidding on Mondays, with auctions closing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
