Audience Names Marvin Burkett to Board of Directors

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Audience, Inc., the leading provider of advanced voice and audio processors for the mobile and telecom marketplace, today announced that Marvin Burkett has been elected to its board of directors.

A veteran of the semiconductor industry, Mr. Burkett brings nearly 40 years of experience with global semiconductor and personal computing companies.  Most recently, he was chief financial officer and chief administrative officer for Nvidia Corp.  He also served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Packard Bell NEC.  Prior to that, he spent 26 years at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) where he held a variety of positions, including chief financial officer, senior vice president, chief administrative officer, and corporate controller.  He began his career at the Semiconductor Division of Raytheon Company.  He holds a master's degree in business administration and a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics and business administration, both from the University of Arizona.  He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Entegris Corporation.
