Auntie Anne's® Unleashes The Flavor Blast Challenge to Celebrate Return of Sour Cream & Onion Flavor and Debut of New Honey Mustard Pretzel Nuggets

New York event turns superfans into human pretzel nuggets

ATLANTA, Aug. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- To mark the return of its beloved Sour Cream & Onion flavor, now available in Flavor Blast Pretzel Nuggets for the first time, and the debut of brand-new Honey Mustard Flavor Blast Nuggets, Auntie Anne's is launching its boldest fan-first experience yet: The Flavor Blast Challenge.

Auntie Anne's, one of the seven iconic brands within the GoTo Foods^® platform company, is hosting a one-day-only event which will take place on Saturday, August 23 at the Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, New York, where fans can step into a larger-than-life Flavor Blast pod, experience a burst of  Sour Cream & Onion pretzel "seasoning", and grab flying "Pretzel Tokens" (aka exclusive prizes) — including the chance to win the coveted Auntie Anne's Gold Card, good for free pretzels for an entire year*.

Back by popular demand, Sour Cream & Onion, a fan-favorite flavor, has been reimagined in Flavor Blast Pretzel Nugget form for the first time ever, delivering a tangy, savory punch of flavor in every bite. After fans flooded social media with comments, requests, and even petitions calling for its return, including 1.3K+ comments across Auntie Anne's Instagram and TikTok channels, the brand knew it had to make a comeback.

Also joining the menu are Honey Mustard Flavor Blast Nuggets, a sweet and zesty twist on the classic dipping sauce. Both flavors are now available at participating locations nationwide for a limited time.

Every participant will walk away with a prize, but the luckiest fans could walk away with the ultimate reward. The Flavor Blast Challenge is free and open to the public, with limited spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.
