AUPEO!® Celebrates Opening of Metro Detroit Office

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., June 3, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- AUPEO!® executives today cut a ceremonial ribbon to inaugurate their office in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Allen Kudla, AUPEO! Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Senior Vice President of Panasonic Automotive Systems Company of America, led the ceremony surrounded by the AUPEO! team and Panasonic employees.

The opening comes a year after AUPEO!'s acquisition by Panasonic Corporation of North America and demonstrates AUPEO!'s commitment to strengthening its U.S. activities. "We are pleased to be in metro Detroit, close to our automotive customers and where we are adding strategic capabilities," said AUPEO! CTO David Taylor, who is based in Farmington Hills.

AUPEO! @ Telematics Update Detroit 2014

A day after the office opening, and as a way to build presence for the company in the U.S., Mr. Weiss and Mr. Taylor will attend the Telematics Detroit conference. AUPEO! has been nominated for the Best Telematics Content Aggregator Award and the Best Automotive Application Award.

Mr. Taylor is also speaking on a Telematics panel entitled "Personal. Contextual. Adaptive: The Car that Knows the Score" on June 4.
