Following are Aurora World's hottest Toy Fair highlights, all new for 2016:

This year, the company is launching Gnomlins, five wizened guys with colorful oversized hats, noticeable noses and equally prominent fluffy white beards. Who needs an elf on a shelf when you can have a gnome for your home? 7.5", 11" and 16".
Sea Sparkles. The sea won't be all that shimmers this summer when Aurora World introduces Sea Sparkles mermaids. These seven adorable sirens of the sea feature hair colors from blonde to pink to turquoise and more, with sparkly matching or contrasting tails. Ideal for beach or pool play, Sea Sparkles are available as 18" dolls and 7" clip-ons.
YooHoo & Friends. Aurora's most popular plush animal line (36,000,000 sold!), YooHoo & Friends adds sea life and "mini balls" for the first time. YooHoo & Friends is based on animals from around the world (many of which are rare and endangered). Most YooHoo & Friends animals make a secret sound when squeezed and hangtags describe each YooHoo character in detail. YooHoo & Friends live in the virtual world Yootopia (visit them at www.yoohoofriends.com to play games, raise YooHoo & Friends, and watch the YooHoo & Friends animation series). The new sea life additions include an assortment of friendly fish as well as pink and blue 8.5" and 12" Sting Rays – how fun is that? Aurora Baby. Aurora World even has a dedicated line just for babies. Our favorite new addition: Super soft Loppy Giraffe, a natural colored jungle friend with embroidered eyes. It comes as a satin-lined "blankee" (18") that also serves as a hand puppet. Loppy Giraffe is also available as a wind-up musical toy that plays "Brahms' Lullaby" (11.5") and as a rattle (7.5" and 11".)
Fabbies. This all-new collection from Aurora is the only one made of tweed-like material rather than the usual "fur." Not just for kids, Fabbies are just—well, fab for anyone, and look cool as can be around the house or office, too. The six items include five dogs and one brave cat. 10.5-11".
Fizzles. Eleven fuzzy, fluffy plush pals, Fizzles are fashioned in new higher-pile multi-colored plush that's easy to hug. Our favorite: new lemon and pink Tipsy Triceratop (12").
Rolly Pets. Entirely new and just 5" high, these cute little plush critters fit in the palm of your hand and make the perfect holiday stocking stuffers. Ultra-soft Rolly Pets sit or "roll" on their backs. Detailing includes blushing cheeks. There are seven pets, including Frisk Mouse and Merry Hedgehog.
Candy Confettis. Aurora has never shied away from color – its catalog is full of creatures from pistachio colored dinosaurs to purple pups. The new Candy Confetti line takes the colorful fun a step further, with the cutest, softest teddy bears in dazzling sherbet colors, with jeweled hearts or glitter noses. Great as a coordinating room accent or to simply be a child's first ever pink/yellow/turquoise/purple/lime green/orange pal. Available in six colors, in 8" and 11".
