Autel Energy Opens New North American Experience Center in Fremont, Hosts Annual Partner Summit and Showcases Offering with Modal

New Silicon Valley facility expands Autel Energy's North American presence while new partnership brings "amenity-as-a-service" to EV charging sites

FREMONT, Calif., Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Autel Energy, a global provider of electric vehicle charging solutions, today celebrates the opening of its new North American Experience Center in Fremont, California, bringing together industry leaders, public officials, customers and partners for a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the company's continued investment in the North American EV charging market.

The opening also kicks off Autel Energy's 2026 North American Partner Summit, taking place September 23–24 at the new facility and bringing together an impressive network of charging industry professionals representing distributors, resellers, charging network operators, technology providers, fleets and other organizations supporting the deployment of EV infrastructure.

As part of the opening, Autel Energy also announced a new partnership with Modal, a provider of modular, fully managed amenity pods designed specifically for EV charging sites. The partnership gives Autel Energy customers and partners a new avenue for creating charging destinations that combine reliable, high-power EV charging with amenities designed around the driver experience.

A New Home for Collaboration, Demonstration and Training

Located in the heart of the Bay Area's technology and transportation ecosystem, the Fremont Experience Center will serve as Autel Energy's new hands-on destination for customers, partners, fleets and other industry stakeholders.

The facility showcases Autel Energy's portfolio of AC and DC charging technology and provides space for live charging demonstrations, interoperability testing, technical training and partner collaboration, as well as a service hub with ready to ship parts in stock.

The September 22 ribbon-cutting brings together leaders from government, transportation and the EV industry, with remarks from Autel Energy leadership and invited guests including California Assemblymember Alex Lee, California Energy Commissioner Nancy Skinner, Wendy Wilson of Catalyst Mobility and Mike Murphy of EVs for All America.

Commercial vehicles from Isuzu, Harbinger and Blue Bird are also being featured as part of the opening, demonstrating the increasingly diverse range of vehicles and applications being supported by modern charging infrastructure.

Bringing the Autel Energy Partner Ecosystem Together

Immediately following the ribbon-cutting and media day, Autel Energy will host its annual North American Partner Summit at the Fremont facility on September 23 and 24.

The two-day program brings together Autel Energy's growing ecosystem of hardware, software, service, distribution and deployment partners for technical sessions, product demonstrations and discussions focused on the next phase of EV infrastructure development.

Sessions will cover Autel Energy's product roadmap, open standards and OCPP software integration, service and support, Buy America and BABA requirements, weights and measures compliance, market trends and the evolving economics of EV charging deployment.

Live demonstrations will allow attendees to see Autel Energy charging systems operating with commercial electric vehicles and explore technologies designed for applications ranging from workplace and multifamily charging to fleet depots and high-power public charging.
