NEW YORK, Feb. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Dethroned: The Dark Side of Money II, the second book in the d. E. Rogers' series, will be released on April 23, 2015. A sequel to 2013's The Dark Side of Money, Dethroned takes off where part one ended, with the Dean family violently fighting each other for power over The Gloria Dean Company, one of the largest fashion companies in the world. In part two, Jaymee, the youngest daughter of empire-builder Gloria Dean, has taken control and shut the door on her family. Trying to destroy the woman who raised her for killing her biological mother, Jaymee stops at nothing to avenge the loss, even though Gloria has quit fighting. When a close family member dies in an attempt on Gloria life, Jaymee joins the group of suspects in Gloria's eyes. Enlisting Jasmine to lead the way, Gloria and Jasmine craft out a plan to destroy Jaymee and take back their fashion empire. Out for blood, the snakes rise up from the grass, strategizing to see the new head of the company dethroned. As a new leader takes control, they quickly discover that their reign may be short-lived.
