Aveos adds new talent to senior executive ranks

Industry veterans to lead Aveos into the next phase in its evolution as a premier global MRO provider:

• Tim Canavan appointed Senior Vice President, Maintenance Operations
• Shannon Wagner assumes leadership of the Components Solutions as Vice President and General Manager
• Paul Lochab fills new position as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
• Mike New takes over as Vice President, Corporate Quality and Technical Services
• Bob Madigan fills role of Vice President and General Manager, Engine Solutions

Aveos announced that it has tapped seasoned aviation industry leaders - Tim Canavan, Shannon Wagner, Paul Lochab, Mike New and Bob Madigan - to join its Executive team.

Tim Canavan, Senior Vice President, Maintenance Operations, has overall responsibility for ensuring the global competitiveness of the airframe business. An industry veteran with over 27 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, Tim was formerly Group Director and Senior Vice President of Fleet Technical Operations for National Express' North American maintenance division. Prior to that he led Line Maintenance at United Airlines and spent much of his career in progressively senior roles at Delta Air Lines.

Shannon Wagner, Vice President and General Manager, Component Solutions, will have overall responsibility for the Component Solutions business unit. A senior executive with over 20 years of experience in operations management, Shannon led the component maintenance organization for United Airlines, the world's largest airline, with responsibility for 700+ aircraft fleet, as well as being responsible for the airline's line maintenance and cabin appearance. He previously held senior operations roles at Delta Air Lines.

Paul Lochab, Aveos' new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will be responsible for all customer-facing activities and for leading the organization's marketing and sales functions. An engineer by training, Paul has developed an impressive business acumen during the course of his nearly 30 year career in the aviation industry. He has held increasingly senior positions in Supply Chain, sales and marketing at both United Airlines and Air Canada Technical Services with oversight for government programs, MRO Sales, business development and sales, marketing strategy.

Mike New took over as Vice President, Corporate Quality and Technical Services. Most recently Managing Director of Operations Training at United Airlines, Mike was the head of training for all Operational Divisions including Qualification programs, curriculum development, fleet management, simulator engineering, and contract sales. He also managed all safety, quality, and standards programs for the Bristow Group, one of the world's largest helicopter operators. He also held increasingly senior roles in safety & operations at Delta Air Lines.

Bob Madigan, Vice President and General Manager, Engine Solutions, will be responsible for the overall performance of the Engine Solutions operations. Bob is a seasoned leader in engine maintenance with over 30 years experience in the overhaul and repair of engines for commercial aircraft. He was recently Managing Director, Base Operations at United Airlines where he was responsible for the overhaul and repair of United's Boeing and Airbus fleets of aircraft, engines and components, and its overhaul and repair facilities.
