Aveos Wins Inventory Support Contract from Air Transat

MONTREAL, May 9 /PRNewswire/ - Aveos is pleased to announce that it has concluded a 7-year contract to provide full inventory and repair and overhaul support to Air Transat for its fleet of 11 Airbus A330 aircraft. Aveos will provide an advanced inventory exchange program, with a guaranteed service and quality level for more than 1,000 part numbers on the Air Transat fleet.

The expanded scope of work began in late 2010. An Aveos on-site representative will be based at the Air Transat facility in Dorval, Canada, to coordinate requests from Air Transat. Components being serviced by Aveos will be repaired at its new Component Solutions facility in Montreal, Canada. The facility has begun to come on stream and is planned to be completed in Q3 2011. It will boast state-of-the-art enhanced equipment and ergonomics, making it one of the most advanced such repair facilities in North America.
