Aviacomm Announces Membership in the Dynamic Spectrum Alliance

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Aviacomm Inc., a leader in wideband RFIC transceiver design is pleased to announce their membership in the newly formed Dynamic Spectrum Alliance.  Aviacomm joins Microsoft and other leading companies in the Dynamic Spectrum Alliance which is working to promote regulations and solutions that will enable broad new wireless markets through more efficient utilization of radio spectrum resources.

The growing popularity of wireless data communications has greatly increased demand on crowded frequency bands, leading to a need for additional spectrum resources.  Dynamic spectrum allocation techniques offer significant efficiency improvements in spectrum utilization.  As new spectrum resources are made available by regulatory agencies, the Dynamic Spectrum Alliance will advocate for rules that enable more efficient ways to use this spectrum.
