Aviall to Distribute Ontic Fuel Management Systems

DALLAS, Jan. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Aviall Services, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, has entered into an exclusive agreement with Ontic UK Limited to market and distribute fuel management systems for leading airframe manufacturers, airlines and other aircraft operators.

The products serve a large and growing installed base of more than 6,200 active aircraft, such as Boeing 777 and Airbus A320.  Aviall's new worldwide distribution agreement for civil fuel gauging and measurement systems will extend for five years. 

Ontic UK Limited acquired the fuel management systems business from GE Aviation earlier this year.  Prior to the acquisition, Aviall distributed these systems under agreement with GE Aviation.
