SIOUX FALLS, S.D., Jan. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Zigen 4K Modular Matrix Switches -- Today AVProAlliance announced immediate availability of Zigen 4K Modular Matrix Switches line of HDMI connectivity products, providing AV integration professionals access to innovative Zigen HDMI connectivity solutions in distribution for the first time.

Zigen offers an industry leading 2K/4K modular HDMI to HDBaseT matrix switch, field upgradable from 2x2 to 16x16. Available two port cards (two inputs and two outputs) include 70m and 100m HDBaseT along with HDMI to HDMI cards. Models ZIG-HX-88HDBT-C and ZIG-HX-1616HDBT-C are currently shipping.

Zigen now supports Integrators with the Super Extender, ZIG-HAVEX. Adding to core Zigen extender functionality (2K/4K, HDbaseT, bidirectional RS232, IR and CEC), the HAVEX includes a four port Ethernet switch. Now just one category delivers full, top shelf Zigen functionality and the internet for Smart TVs.
