AVT Develops New Automated Retailing Systems and Announces New Division

One of the groundbreaking systems was built for Marley Coffee - a gourmet coffee company founded by Rohan Marley, son of music legend Bob Marley. The system is the first of its kind to use a large-panel touch screen with interactivity to place automatic orders for gourmet, freshly ground coffee, cappuccino, and espresso. The Marley Coffee Automated Cafe is the most technologically advanced system in the business, and is intended to provide consumers with a true barista-made coffee shop experience, without the wait or the expense.

The Kardashian Cosmetic Center also received praise for it's innovative use of technology and interactivity. This AVT-designed system allows customers to peruse a selection of cosmetics, including lipstick, eyeliners, blushes and nail polish. To help visualize which color will look best, the system's advanced touch screen allows customers to select a product color and see what it looks like on one of the Kardashian sisters: Kourtney, Kim and Khloe.

While at NAMA, AVT also released further details of their new partnership with Utique. AVT has obtained an exclusive license for use of the technologies of Utique and will now market the Utique Shops throughout the nation, as well as operate current Utique automated stores. The innovative Utique Shops were awarded "Best New Airport Retail Concept in North America" and "Best Store Design" by NAMA.
