LOUIS, May 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Artisan bacon maker, chef, and entrepreneur John Kreilich is turning to the internet to raise funds for his company, Naked Bacon, which produces gourmet, all natural bacon, with no nitrates, nitrites, chemicals, phosphates, gluten, or water. The recipe stems from his great grandfather, who came over from Germany to the United States in 1861. Naked Bacon tastes like bacon did 150 years ago. Naked Bacon's IndieGoGo campaign launched May 26th, and will run until July 25th. During this time period, they hope to raise $75,000, which will be used to hire national food distributors and for advertising and marketing services to support the products during national distribution.
