Award Winning Napa Smith Brewery Opens Brewpub and Wine Tasting Room

NAPA, Calif., Oct. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Napa Smith Brewery is pleased to announce the opening of it's new Brewpub and Wine Tasting Room in Napa, CA. For the first time in Napa Valley, visitors can stop in for a beer tasting and a wine tasting. The Brewpub features 8 different types of Napa Smith beer fresh and on tap, while the Wine Tasting room provides the opportunity to taste and purchase wines from Napa Smith Winery as well as Bourassa wines.

"We've been making great beer for a while now, and I think it's about time we have a place where you can come in and taste it fresh from the Brewery," commented Master Brewer Don Barkley. "If you want to learn more about beer or take a tour, you can do that. If you want to just relax over a cold, refreshing beer, you can do that. We just want you to have a good time, meet great people and enjoy life at its finest - that's what Napa Smith is all about."

To celebrate, the Brewpub will be hosting a Grand Opening on Saturday, October 8 from Noon - 4pm. Both the Brewpub and the Wine Tasting room will be open to the public. There will be live music and featured specials.

In keeping with this theme, the music, food and wine will all be local - just as all the beer is brewed in Napa.

Napa Smith is both a Brewery and a Winery, though the beers are much more widely known and distributed. Vic Bourassa, Founder of Bourassa Vineyards said, "Just think about it - handcrafted beer and wine both available to taste in one stop. This is a new experience for Napa, and we think when you stop in you won't be disappointed." The Wine Tasting Room will offer mixed flights of Napa Smith and Bourassa wines, as well as wines to purchase, wine club memberships, and more.

In the Brewpub, consumers can sit down for a flight of 8 different styles of beer to taste. Or they can enjoy a pint while listening to music while enjoying the relaxed setting. Bottled beer and growlers (draught beer to go) are also available. With food offerings parked right outside, consumers can make a meal of it as well.

The Brewpub and Wine Tasting Room are both open daily from 10am to 5pm. Tours of the Brewery are also offered daily at 3pm.
