WASHINGTON, Oct. 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Association of Women's Business Centers (AWBC) announced the launch of the S.O.A.R. (Supporting Our Artisans & Retailers) Together Accelerator for Veterans, at VeteranStartup.org. This intensive eight-week virtual program is designed to help veteran-owned businesses expand their presence and revenue through e-commerce platforms.
"With S.O.A.R., we've built more than a training program, we've built a launching pad," said Corinne Goble, CEO of AWBC. "Veteran entrepreneurs already possess resilience and dedication. We're giving them the strategic insight, coaching, and community they need to compete in the digital marketplace."
The accelerator delivers training in digital marketing, brand positioning, customer acquisition, and optimization of online storefronts, with a concentrated module on how to tap into TikTok Shop's direct-to-consumer capabilities. Participants also receive one-on-one mentorship, peer accountability, and practical assignments to transform knowledge into revenue.
The first S.O.A.R. cohort begins in November 2025 and is open to U.S.-based businesses that are at least 51 percent veteran-owned and actively selling online. Participants must commit to weekly sessions and complete assignments designed to drive measurable business growth. Applications close on October 15, 2025.
"TikTok Shop is one of the fastest-growing e-commerce channels in the country — and we want veteran founders to access this emerging market," Goble added. "This program ensures they won't be late to the party."
This initiative deepens AWBC's mission of economic empowerment. Through its national network of over 150 Women's Business Centers, AWBC has long supported underrepresented entrepreneurs; now, through VeteranStartup.org and the S.O.A.R. accelerator, that commitment extends further into the veteran community.
