AXION Secures Additional Purchase Order For 100% Recycled STRUXURE® Heavy Construction Mats

NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J., March 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- AXION International Holdings, Inc. (OTCQB:AXIH), a leader in recycled plastic and plastic composite technologies used to produce ECOTRAX® rail ties/sleepers and STRUXURE® building products, today secured an additional order for AXION's 100% Recycled STRUXURE® Heavy Construction Mats through SPARTAN MAT, Inc. This order consists of 650 of the Company's 45" x 8' mats and will be distributed across the U.S. and Canada to be used as field supports including temporary energy units and crane outrigger pads in wet conditions.

Additionally, SPARTAN MAT, Inc. will display AXION's Recycled STRUXURE® Heavy Construction Mats at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2014, held on March 4-8, 2014 in Las Vegas.
