CuddleRoo fits over most of today's popular backpack style SSC carriers and is made out of luxuriously soft faux fur and minky fabrics that are lightweight and washable.

"My niece wanted a soft-structured baby carrier with more personality and asked me if I could create one that looked like her favorite cartoon character," explains Sindy Beekman, CuddleRoo founder and designer.  "She loved the baby carrier I made for her and so many people asked her where they could get one that I realized there was an opportunity for a new product.  With input from my niece and a group of babywearing moms, I developed a more versatile product that slips right over the existing carrier to 'cuten it up' while providing additional comfort and protection from the elements."

The current CuddleRoo carrier cover product line includes a cow, dinosaur, dragon, horse, giraffe, leopard, lion, panda and a unicorn, with more designs to be added in the near future. Each CuddleRoo weighs between 6 and 10 oz., depending upon the design, measures 20 inches long and 16 inches wide, and the hood fits babies' head sizes up to 18 months.  The CuddleRoo is easy to attach to an existing baby carrier -- just slide the shoulder and hip straps of the carrier through the four elastic straps of the CuddleRoo.
