Bach to Rock Gears Up To Open In Wayne, PA This Month

WAYNE, Pa., July 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Bach to Rock (B2R), America's music school for students of all ages, announced today that the latest B2R school is gearing up to open in Wayne, Pa. The community is invited to an open house scheduled for Saturday, July 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Families, neighbors and residents are invited to tour the school, meet the teachers, learn about summer camp programs, check out the recording studio, win prizes, and more. The school is located at 226 Sugartown Road in Wayne and is the first Bach to Rock to open in Pennsylvania.

"After months of preparation and training, we are so excited to officially open our doors to the public," said B2R Wayne owner and site director Dave Leonard, who owns the school with his wife, Ellen Good. "We offer a variety of music programs for students of all ages, from early childhood to adults, and can't wait to be a part of the local arts community."

B2R transforms music instruction into a team sport by coupling individual instruction with band practice that keeps students motivated by playing in a group. The school combines performance training with a curriculum built on the tenants of music theory, ear training, technique and repertoire. Students learn how to read and write music and are encouraged to compose original songs. Throughout their learning experience, students are able to showcase their talents through a variety of events.
