Attendees are encouraged to replace their ball gown and monkey suits with their leather jackets, vests, designer jeans and skullcap rings. Instead of a hotel ballroom venue, guests are invited to the home of Scott and Kelly Hershman who transform their mansion into an upscale 'biker bar' for the evening. A $100 donation includes fabulous food, great music, a beer tasting, a wine pull, photos with rescued canines, and a chance to bid on sensational silent auction items.
Operation Kindness is the largest and oldest no-kill shelter in North Texas. THLN (www.THLN.org) serves as the only organization in the state that champions animal welfare laws and is credited for successfully passing several crucial animal bills including the legislation that requires puppy mill operators to comply with minimum standards of animal care.
All ticket holders are asked to submit a photo of their own pet for the 4-LEGGED FRIEND PHOTO CONTEST to win a Portfolio of Wines and Liquor (just in time for the holidays). Please email your entry to [email protected]. The entries will be posted at the event for viewing before the winner is announced.
Tickets can be purchased at www.operationkindness.com. To donate an item to the silent auction, contact Shelby Bobosky at 214-708-4292.
