BancorpSouth Opens Banking Office in Dallas, Texas
- Veteran banking team leads BancorpSouth's new Texas office.

TUPELO, Miss., April 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- BancorpSouth Bank, subsidiary of BancorpSouth, Inc. (NYSE: BXS), has opened a loan and deposit production office at 14841 North Dallas Parkway, Suite 135, in Dallas, Texas, providing a broad range of financial services to the Dallas metropolitan area.
BancorpSouth's Dallas team consists of a group of financial services veterans, including Thomas Wilds, Market President, Joseph Massey, Senior Vice President and Commercial Lender, and Kathy Loredo, Senior Loan Administrative Assistant.
The BancorpSouth team is focusing on providing clients a broad range of commercial and consumer banking services, including commercial real estate, construction, residential and consumer lending.
Thomas Wilds, BancorpSouth Market President, is a 37-year veteran of the financial services industry with proven leadership and administrative skills in large banks, smaller independent banks and the private sector. Wilds has a strong record in both business lending and deposit generation. Prior to joining BancorpSouth, he was involved in organizing the startup of a new Highland Village, Texas bank, was co-founder and partner of an Addison Texas capital resource group, and served a large national bank as its East Dallas District Manager.
Over the past eight years, Wilds served with a publicly traded regional financial services company as President of its Abrams Centre bank in Dallas. He is a graduate of Washburn University with a BBA in business administration and marketing. He is also a graduate of the American Bankers Association School of Banking at Lincoln, Nebraska.
Joseph Massey, Senior Vice President and Commercial Lender, has over 18 years of financial services experience in consumer and commercial lending, relationship management, business development, sales and operations. Prior to joining BancorpSouth, he served with large national banks in Plano and Dallas handling a range of banking center responsibilities. During the past eight years, he served as Banking Center President of a publicly traded regional financial services company in McKinney, Texas. Massey is a graduate of The University of Texas at Dallas with a BA in interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in Japanese business.
Kathy Loredo, Senior Loan Administrative Assistant, has 32 years of financial services experience with publicly traded regional and national banking systems in Texas.
