The update is in response to a recent survey of 40,000 Bandsintown fans, who requested a better way to purchase tickets to their favorite shows more quickly and with less hassle. The survey also revealed the number of concerts users attend after installing the app increased by 200 percent, boosting attendance at live music events both nationally and abroad.

Bandsintown version 4.1 with the in-app ticketing update is available now for both Android and iOS users. Those users who already have Bandsintown installed on their mobile device need only update to the latest version to take advantage of the new ticketing feature.
