DAVIE, Fla., March 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Bankers Healthcare Group, a leading provider of financing solutions for healthcare professionals, has once again teamed up with the American Heart Association and Broward PULSE in the fight against heart disease. BHG sponsored the fifth annual PULSE Red Party held on Saturday, February 28 in Fort Lauderdale. The record-breaking attendance of over 400 PULSE supporters raised more than $180,000 for the AHA to date and set new records for most raised at the actual event and most raised in live auction.

PULSE is the young professional arm of the American Heart Association of Broward County. In addition to their fundraising efforts, PULSE members promote heart health through various activities focused on fitness and nutrition. Since its inception in 2011, the group has raised over $600,000 to combat childhood obesity and congenital heart defects through the Open Your Heart campaign.
