Baltimore County Council Second District Candidate, Timmy Ruppersberger has recently joined forces with the marketing firm. Timmy Ruppersberger is seeking election to the Baltimore County Council Second District seat. As a life long resident of Baltimore County and a product of the Baltimore County School System, Ruppersberger hopes to continue her family's tradition of service and give back to the citizens of Maryland.
Ruppersberger is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park and University of Maryland School of Law, Baltimore and currently serves as a Board Member and President Elect of the University of Maryland Alumni Association. She is experienced in all aspects of county government through her 29 years of advising local governments along with past and present service on several boards and committees. Some of her board and committee experience includes the Baltimore County Public Schools Education Foundation, Inc., the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce and its Legislative Committee, the Baltimore County Planning Board and the Lake Falls Community Association.
After a 29 year career as an attorney Ruppersberger believes it is time for her to give back to the County where she grew up and raised her children. Having worked on Dutch Ruppersberger's County Executive campaigns, Ruppersberger realized her experience and unique skill set would suit a leadership position in Baltimore County. During her career as an attorney, Ruppersberger advised local governments as they worked to finance capital projects (including schools, roads, water and sewer improvements).
