barker & meowsky Holds Book Signing for Seth Casteel December 19

CHICAGO, Dec. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicago's barker & meowsky is hosting New York Times bestselling author and photographer Seth Casteel at Chicago Art Source for a book signing and presentation on December 19, 2012 from 6 – 9 p.m.  A portion of proceeds for the event are going to Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control (FCACC). 

Seth Casteel is an award-winning photographer and New York Times bestselling author.  His book "Underwater Dogs", along with the accompanying photographs have been seen by hundreds of millions of people around the world and has become one of the most famous series of images in the past decade.  Seth has been quoted as saying, "I just really like dogs.  They inspire me.  I wish I could be a dog, but I can't, so I will do my best to live like one."

The event will feature:

• Presentation and book signing by Seth Casteel, author of New York Times bestselling book "Underwater Dogs"

• Live music featuring international jazz artists Danny Lerman, Tim Gant and Don Lerman 
• Appetizers from Kincade's Bar and Grill of Lincoln Park will be featured
• A portion of book and calendar sales and all Silent Auction proceeds will benefit Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control.
