Barron's Names Jennifer Ellison of B|O|S as a "Top 100 Women Financial Advisor" for the Fourth Consecutive Year

SAN FRANCISCO, June 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- B|O|S, a leading Bay Area independent wealth management firm, today announced that Barron's has recognized the firm's Principal, Jennifer Ellison, CFA, as one of their 2017 America's Top 100 Women Financial Advisors. This is the fourth consecutive year Jennifer Ellison has been featured in Barron's annual Top 100 Women Financial Advisors ranking.

This year also marks the 12th edition of Barron's annual ranking of top 100 Women Financial Advisors. The editors at Barron's focus on total assets under advisement and revenue generated by the advisor's team, as well as an assessment of the overall quality of the practice. Investment performance is not an explicit criterion because clients' investment goals vary. In many cases, the objective is preservation of wealth, rather than market-trouncing returns.
Ellison joined B|O|S in 2001 and manages the firm's Silicon Valley office. She not only works with many of the firm's individual clients, but also directly manages a number of the company's largest institutional endowment and foundation client relationships. Before joining B|O|S, she served as a financial consultant for five years with Merrill Lynch in Seattle, and two years at an independent firm where she was responsible for developing and implementing the firm's investment strategy. Ellison lives in Burlingame, Calif. with her husband and two sons. She earned her BA degree in business administration from Seattle University.
