(NASDAQ:BYLK), the parent company for Baylake Bank, is pleased to announce that on April 1, 2016, its Board of Directors declared a special dividend of $0.40 per share on the Company's common stock. The dividend is payable on April 25, 2016 to shareholders of record on April 18, 2016. This dividend is to be paid prior to closing as permitted in the Agreement and Plan of Merger Agreement with Nicolet Bankshares, Inc. dated September 8, 2015. All required regulatory approvals have been received for the merger, and special meetings for both companies' shareholders to approve the merger are scheduled for April 12, 2016. Assuming receipt of the requisite shareholder approvals and satisfaction of the remaining customary closing conditions, a closing date of April 29, 2016 is being targeted.
